Who we are

Petit Papillon sells premium wooden toys. You can reach us on WhatsApp at +91 95998 13289 or by email at [email protected]. For anything about your information, email us and we will reply personally.

What we collect when you place an order

We take no payment on this website. When you tap Place Order you fill in a short form and we open WhatsApp with your order details ready to send. The form asks for:

• your name;
• your phone number;
• your delivery address;
• an optional note, and a coupon code if you have one;
• the product, quantity and price you selected.

We use these details only to confirm your order, arrange delivery and talk to you about it. We do not sell your details, and we do not use them to advertise to you.

When you submit the form, those details are saved to a private order log in Google Sheets (so an order is never lost if WhatsApp fails to open), and your message is then sent by you through WhatsApp. Your conversation with us lives in WhatsApp and is covered by WhatsApp's own privacy policy. Google's handling of the order log is covered by Google's privacy policy.

We keep order records as long as we need them for the order, for after-sales help and for our own accounts. Ask us by email and we will delete your details from our order log where we are not required to keep them.

Cookies and advertising

We advertise on Instagram and Facebook (Meta) and on Google. To understand whether those ads work, we can place small files called cookies on your device through two tools:

• Meta Pixel — tells us anonymously how many people viewed a product or started an order after seeing one of our ads, and lets Meta show our ads to people with similar interests. See Meta's privacy policy.
• Google Ads tag — does the same for ads we run through Google. See Google's privacy policy.

These tools can tell Meta and Google which pages you looked at on this site and whether you started an order. They never receive your name, phone number or address. We do not report purchases from this website, because no payment happens here.

Neither tool runs until you agree. Advertising cookies are switched off when you arrive, and neither Meta's nor Google's script is even downloaded — nothing is requested from either company until you choose Accept. We ask once, with a banner at the bottom of the page. Choosing No thanks changes nothing about the site — every page, the order form and WhatsApp all work exactly the same.

You can change your mind at any time with the button below. If you switch from Accept to No thanks, we also delete the Meta and Google advertising cookies already stored on your device, so withdrawing really does undo it.

Some product pages have a video. Nothing is requested from YouTube until you press play, and we use YouTube's no-cookie player.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and withdraw your consent to advertising cookies at any time (the button above, or by clearing this site's data in your browser). Email [email protected] and we will act on it.

We do not knowingly collect information from children. Our toys are for children; our website is for the grown-ups buying them.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will ask for your consent again.
